Kiddie Acres

Yesterday the church playgroup was at Kiddie Acres. Novie had a great time. She even rode two of the rides by herself! She is still a little too small to ride the ponys though. As hard as I tried, I could not talk Novie out of riding the carousel twice. Once was more than enough for Mommy! Just thinking about it makes me dizzy!

Niagara Falls

We had such a wonderful time at Niagara Falls. It is so beautiful. The pictures do not do it justice. It is one place that everyone should go. I cannot put into words how magnificent it is.

BUSTED!

Novie has figured out how to get in and more importantly how to get out of her toyboxes. She of course had to make room by throwing almost all of her toys out first.

Another fun thing Novie is doing is pointing to items in the bathroom when we say their names. She knows: bathtub, towel, sink, cabinet, trash can, toilet paper, floor, big potty, little potty, mirror, hair dryer, robe, and lights.

First Steps!

Novie took her first steps last night. She took two steps twice and one step several times. She was so proud of herself. Today she took four steps three times. She even walked to her ride-a-long toy. I know she will be adding more steps each day until she is running!

Boston Celtic's Victory Parade

Novie and I went to the Celtic's victory parade yesterday. We had a great time. Novie got a little fussy until she heard the entrance music. Then she was all about DANCING!

Novie is growing so much every day. She now has 11 teeth and is working on her 12! Here are a few stats:

Weight: 19lbs 5.5 oz

Height: 29 inches

We have not figured out what she finds so fascinating about Amica commercials but it is hilarious to watch her when it comes on. She giggles and then turns to us to make sure we know it is on. Today she was in the kitchen when it came on. I have never seen her crawl so fast for anything! She was in front of the TV in a flash! We don't have a walker yet but I don't think it will be much longer. Novie no longer takes a bottle or pacifier. Both were suprisingly easy for her to give up. I really don't know how we got so lucky! Speaking of giving up, I think she is trying to drop her morning nap. I knew it wouldn't last forever but a few more months would have been nice.

Memorial Weekend

We had a great time spending most of Memorial week at Nana and Pop's condo on Lake Travis.
