48 Hours and counting

Monday morning started bright and early at 5:15 a.m. The sun has steadily been rising earlier and earlier and so has Novie. We decided to put her in bed with us but she did not want to go back to sleep. We tried giving her Tubby (a stuffed Hippo), a taggy book, and her pacifier. She kept her pacifier in long enough to pull herself to a standing position. She then took it out and threw it behind the bed. I jokingly told her that she threw it away and it was gone. That is the last time she has had it. No fussing or crying! She has great going down for all of her naps! Hopefully this is the last of the pacifier! Next is the bottle. Maybe we will work on that after our Texas trip.
