BUCKET FUN
Novie pulled the hospital bucket from under my sink into the living room. The first time she did it she of course was naked. I thought the novelty would wear off once she was dressed. I should have wrapped it instead of all of the educational gifts I got her.
Kisses!

Novie decided she wanted to undress herself. I don't think it worked out as she had planned.
Halloween was interesting this year. Novie and I went to a great free Fall Festival at Old Settlers Park in Round Rock. There were tons of kids and Novie loved looking at all of the costumes. She wasn't too keen on the games though. After about 45 minutes I decided we had had enough and we should meet Nana for lunch. This is where things go terribly wrong. As I was about to get Novie out of the car I remembered that Nana had wanted to see the pictures on my camera. I gently closed Novie's door in order to get the camera from the front seat. I knew immediately that I had made a huge mistake. THE CAR WAS LOCKED AND THE KEYS WERE IN IT! Of course I go into panic mode and totally overreact. I grab a Fed Ex guy and blubber that I had locked my child in the car and asked if he could watch it while I ran in to call the police. I am not sure what good I thought that would do but I asked anyway. Novie was doing just fine watching her DVD player until the firemen showed up. Three of them jump on the car and eventually get it unlocked. Novie was in hysterics but still managed to sign thank you to the firemen. To add to my humiliation, we have a keylock pad on the driver's side. Before we left the parking lot, I had the code memorized. This is an experience I hope to never have again!
